Garage Removals

• WH Garage Specialists are not responsible to remove any personal contents from the garage and it is the customers responsibility to clear the garage before WH Garage Specialists arrive unless agreed prior. Failure to do so will incur additional charges or the job being postponed.

• WH Garage Specialists are not liable to take away contents of the garage unless agreed prior and charges may apply.

• WH Garage Specialists are not responsible for the pruning trees, bushes or ivy. This must be done prior to WH

Garage Specialists commencing with the garage removal. Charges may apply if WH Garage Specialists are required to do it unless agreed prior.

• Good clear access is required to enable WH Garage Specialists to complete the garage removal safely. If there isn’t clear access WH Garage Specialists have the right to postpone the garage removal and charges will apply.

• Electricity will be required to enable safe dismantling of the garage.

• WH Garage Specialists will not be held responsible for any damages to personal belongings or property inside the garage or close up to the garage. Please ensure anything of value is removed from around the building and from the inside.

• It is the customers responsibility to ensure all live electrical works inside and outside of the garage are disconnected prior to WH Garage Specialists turning up on site. WH Garage Specialists are legally not allowed to disconnect or move live electrical cables.

• WH Garage Specialists will not be responsible to remove boarded or lined garage waste internally unless agreed within the quote prior.

• Payment is due UPON COMPLETION which an invoice will be issued. Payment methods are BANK TRANSFER/CHEQUE OR CASH. Failure to pay within 72 hours will incur additional charge to the outstanding invoice.

• 14 days notice in writing must be given when cancelling a garage removal. WH Garage Specialists reserve the right to keep any deposits paid or charge 10% of the job cost.

Concrete Bases

• It is the customers responsibility to make sure the area where the base is proposed to go is clear from any buildings, raised beds, trees, bushes and personal belongings unless agreed prior. WH Garage Specialists have the right to postpone the base and charges will apply.

• It is the customers responsibility to ensure WH Garage Specialists have good, clear access to where the base is proposed to go. If WH Garage Specialists can’t get the base complete in the timescale set out due to restrictions, charges will apply for a return trip.

• WH Garage Specialists are not responsible for the removal of extra waste from the property unless agreed prior.

• It is the customers responsibility to ensure all valuable possessions are moved away from the area where the base is proposed to be installed. WH Garage Specialists will not be responsible if anything in the way gets damaged.

• WH Garage Specialists are not responsible for any remedial works after the base is installed i.e removing shuttering, making good around the base, cutting block paving, cutting flag stones, trimming with decorative stones and back filling with soil. WH Garage Specialists are just there to install the new base and anything around the base is the customers responsibility.

• It is the customers responsibility to agree with WH Garage Specialists on site about a base position and height. If the customer isn’t in, WH Garage Specialists will install the base as they feel fit but won’t be held responsible if the base doesn’t meet the customers desired location and height.• It is the customers responsibility to discuss locations of utility access within the slab with WH Garage Specialists prior to the base works commencing. If this hasn’t been discussed prior, WH Garage Specialists will insert an access pipe they feel fit and will not be held responsible if it’s in the wrong location.

• Concrete ramps up to the base aren’t included with the base price unless agreed prior with WH Garage specialists. If a ramp is required, please let WH Garage Specialists know and it will be priced in accordingly.

• If the area where the base is proposed to go isn’t fairly level and has level variations such as sloping or cross fall, the base will either be out of the ground considerably or within the ground. If the base is out of the ground considerably, it will require a ramp of some description which WH Garage Specialists aren’t responsible for unless agreed prior. If the base at some point is below ground level due to slopes or cross falls, it is the customers responsibility to carry out landscaping works to retain any land back.

• WH Garage Specialists can’t control the weather so base finish’s will vary from time to time. In the case of a severe weather front, WH Garage Specialists will reschedule the base works with the customer. The base will be allocated WH Garage Specialists next convenient slot in the schedule.

• In the case of a dusty concrete base, please use a concrete DUSTPROOFER AND SEALANT. WH Garage Specialists isn’t responsible for a dusty surface.

• Concrete shrinkage cracks can happens from time to time and is a natural occurrence. Please contact WH Garage Specialists in the event of shrinkage cracks and remedial works will be carried out.

• Please do not paint the new base until 3-5 weeks has elapsed. This is to ensure all the moisture has escaped the concrete base before paint is applied. (Thickness of concrete and weather impacts drying times)

• Reinforcement is common practice when laying a concrete base but not necessary. Please ensure to tell WH Garage Specialists which method you would prefer (Steel sheet mesh is a traditional method or fibre mixed concrete is the new method) and it will be priced accordingly.

• All specifications will be sent out in writing and agreed prior to the works commencing. Specification changes must be brought to WH Garage Specialists attention prior to the base installation date so they can adjust the pricing and paperwork.

• Some changes have to happen on site which WH Garage Specialists will consult with the customer

• Any cancelations will need to be in writing within 14 days of the base commencing. WH Garage Specialists reserve the right to keep any deposits paid or charge a cancelation fee of up to 10% of the job cost.

• Payment is due UPON COMPLETION which an invoice will be raised for. Payment options are BANK TRANSFER/CHEQUE OR CASH. Failure to pay within 72hours will incur additional charges that will be added to the outstanding invoice.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
